Kids Hack Day
Twenty kids, thirty micro-computers, and a thousand straws (?) during a one-day event led by Creative technologists. What could possibly go wrong?
While at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, I initiated and executed the first ever Kids Hack Day in the Netherlands.
The hack days are intended to inspire creativity and provide a hands-on approach to learning about technology, which we believe is lacking in schools. With goal is to supplement traditional education curriculums worldwide.
The event was a success for both the KHD organization and Wieden+Kennedy and Kids Hack days have since been arranged all over the world.
