Graham Windham has been around for generations. Over time, each group of graduates and teachers have passed on what they’ve learned and what they know to the next generation. They’ve acted as a symbol of hope for the emerging next generation of students. The torch symbolizes this tradition, and serves as an inspiration to – in the words of Martin Luther King Jr. himself – Keep moving forward.

We used the iconic initials of MLK to create the ever-burning flame of his and the school’s legacy, while the slogan « Keep Moving Forward » draws inspiration from the MLK jr speech at Barratt Junior High School in Philadelphia on October 26, 1967, “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but by all means, keep moving forward”.
