From pros to amateurs around the globe, all golfers have a special story about a particular golf hole. This year, MasterCard owned the #TheHoleStory discussion and created a platform for golf’ s most legendary holes, including The Open’ s famous holes that mark history, in particular the iconic ‘ Postage Stamp’ at Royal Troon.


To drive real-time engagement, golf fans were encouraged to share their most memorable golf experiences on Twitter and Facebook, launched by the legendary golfer Tom Watson and supported by other MasterCard golf ambassadors. The campaign lived across all digital channels and included on-site experiential activations to amplify the experience live and reactively.
